Robbie Burns Night: Jim Dryburgh

Burns 250th Birthday Supper. An annual event for since 2006. A well organised Robbie Burns night was enjoyed by members with the traditional Address to the Haggis by Jim Dryburgh and Toast to the Lassies by Rob Hamilton with the reply by Flora Dryburgh. The evening finished with Auld lang Syne.

 
 

NZ Police – Rotary Clubs of Kapiti Driver Reviver Campaign

On long weekends throughout the year that end on a Monday, the NZ Police assisted by the Rotary Clubs of Kapiti and sponsors Nestle, AMI & ACC run a Driver Reviver Campaign at Waikanae. This is to encourage drivers and passengers to take a break and have a free cup of Tea, Coffee, Milo or Juice. Colouring pencils, pads and drink bottles and other goodies are provided Free for children in the vehicles.

The next campaign will be Easter Monday 5 April 2010.
