Changeover 1 July 2010

The Rotary Club of Kapiti is the first club in the world to hold changeover for the 2010-2011 Year.

Rotary Fun Run Paraparaumu Beach

Nearly 350 pupils from local schools raced in the Annual Rotary Club of Kapiti Fun Run on Sunday 7 March 2010.

President Jim Dryburgh was pleased with the turnout which coincided with Childrens Day.

Selly Hyde - Past Presidents Dinner

The Paul Harris Sapphire Pin was awarded to Selwyn Hyde founding President of the Rotary Club of Kapiti for his many contributions to the Club and Community.

Guy Weaver spoke about Sellys active involvement not only with Rotary but St Johns, The Caledonian Society, The Kapiti Club, The Kapiti Boating Club and other community organisations, truly "Service above Self"

NZ Police – Rotary Clubs of Kapiti Driver Reviver Campaign

On long weekends throughout the year that end on a Monday, the NZ Police assisted by the Rotary Clubs of Kapiti and sponsors Nestle, AMI & ACC run a Driver Reviver Campaign at Waikanae. This is to encourage drivers and passengers to take a break and have a free cup of Tea, Coffee, Milo or Juice. Colouring pencils, pads and drink bottles and other goodies are provided Free for children in the vehicles.

The next campaigns will be Queens Birthday Weekend
Monday 7 June 2010.
and Labour Day Monday 25 October 2010.
